Located on the eastern edge of ASU’s Tempe, Arizona, campus, the Biodesign Institute currently comprises two broad, four story brick and glass facade buildings opened in 2005 and 2006. The Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University is the first LEED platinum building in that state. Building received gold level certification in 2004 and Building B shown above received platinum, the highest environmentally friendly design recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council in 2006. The XXIII Ravelston Terrace that the prize-winning residence as the Residential Bronze Award at the 2009 Roses Design Awards is transformed from a 1970′s concrete frame and brick frame office block building was originally designed by Roland Wedgwood Architects to be Croythorn House in Edinburgh upon request from Sundial Properties and Kilmartin Property Group. The Tom’s Bar with its vaulted contemporary has been awarded as the ‘Best Café, Bar, Nightclub or Lounge’ from a European Hotel Design Award. The Augustine is part, and reflecting the group’s mantra: The Art of Simple Luxury, so RDD’s objective was to create a unique lounge bar in keeping with the grand and historic Rocco Forte Collection.
