The “super-functionalist” office building that located in Groningen, Netherlands, named Shaken Office was completed by Zerodegree Architecture. The two buildings of impressive architecture design; an identical set of floor plans, with spaces to be rented from 15 minutes to 15 years on limited resources, for office and scientific laboratory uses. The design of the facade is not final, and the facade panels are perforated steel panels covering 50% of the “second skin”. They aim to rejuvenate the functionalist architecture with a form of energy. A monolith of a sensual translucency, light body and voluptuous shape, the architects call the “super-functionalism, ” the rhetoric “lightness makes a strong impression” on its base. Read more »
