The “super-functionalist” office building that located in Groningen, Netherlands, named Shaken Office was completed by Zerodegree Architecture. The two buildings of impressive architecture design; an identical set of floor plans, with spaces to be rented from 15 minutes to 15 years on limited resources, for office and scientific laboratory uses. The design of the facade is not final, and the facade panels are perforated steel panels covering 50% of the “second skin”. They aim to rejuvenate the functionalist architecture with a form of energy. A monolith of a sensual translucency, light body and voluptuous shape, the architects call the “super-functionalism, ” the rhetoric “lightness makes a strong impression” on its base. Read more »

The Law courts in Haarlem was designed by Bakers Architecten in Netherlands. The law courts in Haarlem consist of four buildings – two of them listed – and has its main entrance on Jansstraat. Since the most recent renovation, all that remains of the original 1890 court building designed by W.C Metzelaar is the exterior building facade. The complex, which houses the Family, District and Civil courts, has a gross floor area of around 11,000 sq m and is characterised by multiple differences in level, the product of repeated renovations over the years. The resulting ensemble of buildings is completely integrated with the urban fabric of the historical centre of Haarlem. Read more »

Django Building, an apartment complex was designed by KCAP Architects & Planners is located in the first district of the Zuidas, in Amsterdam’s Zuidas development area, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
