The architectural design of Concordia International School Shanghai that located in Shanghai, China, was completed by Perkins Eastman. The Concordia International School Shanghai (CISS) is the newest addition to the school’s multi-building education campus. The 129,166 sq ft (12,000 sq m) building of high school is the fourth phase of a series of planning and design projects completed for the 10 acre school campus which also includes an elementary school and performing arts center, also designed by Perkins Eastman. The Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University sets a standard for the next generation of research facilities. Located on the eastern edge of ASU’s Tempe, Arizona, campus, the Biodesign Institute currently comprises two broad, four story brick and glass facade buildings opened in 2005 and 2006. The Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University is the first LEED platinum building in that state. Building received gold level certification in 2004 and Building B shown above received platinum, the highest environmentally friendly design recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council in 2006.
