Panthalassa with top speed of 15 knots, rises to 59 metres in height and has capacity for up to 12 guests and a crew of ten, has been designed by Foster + Partners for the more distinguished owner with comfort and style forging the streamline design. House 108 in Madrid, Spain by A Cero home design

House 108 is a white marble home was designed by Spanish firm A-Cero, Joaquín Torres with partner architect Rafael Llamazares in the town of Pozuelo de Alarcón, on the outskirts of Madrid, Spain. The inspirational block is built with marble, studying the placement of the stone with respect to curved shapes and edges. Notable side cantilevers provide weightlessness to the home building. At the main entrance, dark vertical granite stone contrasts with the predominant clear granite in the façade. Read more »

The Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates that designed by New York based practice architect Asymptote Architecture is one of the main architectural features of the ambitious Yas Marina development and so central to the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which is also near completion. The Yas Hotel features a fluid skin of diamond-shaped glass panels which was influenced and inspired by speed, movement and Islamic artistry. The Yas Hotel is a 500-room, 85,000-square-meter complex now under construction by Aldar Properties PJSC and targeting an opening in this coming October, 2009. Read more »

B House in Italy by Damilano Studio Architects home design

B-House was designed by Damilano Studio Architects is located in Cuneo, Italy. Damilano builds this Italian white house on the hillside to enjoy the landscape of the Piedmont. The house extends horizontally with a succession of spaces terminating in the kitchen, its windows acting as binoculars focused on the country. In the opposite direction, the house spreads to the north with the body of the rooms, and maintains intimacy where the pool lies: a large body of water, reflections and light. Read more »
